Interact. Discover. Learn. A Brief Introduction to PhET
PhET was founded in 2002 by Carl Wieman and has grown to include over 150 award winning simulations that cover topics in physics, chemistry, math, earth science, and biology. The simulations align fully with curricula across almost all age groups ranging from primary school to post-secondary. PhET simulations offer an easily accessible environment for exploring concepts which we cannot easily investigate even on a microscopic level. The simulations are purely virtual and have been positively reviewed a number of times for their modeling capabilities (Moore et al., 2014; Salame & Samson, 2019). |

What's inside?Within this Weebly, you will be introduced to an example PhET simulation in each of physics, chemistry, and biology; some example activities that go with them; as well as plenty of other useful information about this versatile technology-enhanced math and science learning environment.
